Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Swipe and Clean application ("Swipe and Clean", "the App", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Quanite, handles information in connection with your use of the App. Swipe and Clean is designed to be private by default: it has no user accounts, no servers of its own, and it does not collect or transmit your personal information.
1. The short version
- We do not collect, store on our servers, upload, share, or sell any personal data.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party marketing SDKs.
- Your photos and videos never leave your device and are never sent to us or anyone else.
- All processing happens locally on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Information we do not collect
Swipe and Clean does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location. We do not operate a backend service that receives your data. Because we do not collect personal data, we do not sell it, rent it, or share it with third parties.
3. Access to your photo library
To help you review and remove photos, the App requests permission to access your device's photo library. This access is used solely on your device to display your photos and videos so you can decide which ones to keep or delete. Your photos and videos are never copied to a server, never uploaded, and never transmitted off your device. Any analysis used by the App's filters (for example, detecting screenshots, likely duplicates, blurry images, or large videos) is performed entirely on-device.
You may grant full access, limited access, or deny access at any time in your device's Settings. Denying or limiting access will restrict the App's functionality accordingly.
4. Deleting photos
Swipe and Clean never deletes anything automatically. Photos you mark are only removed after you explicitly review the selection and confirm the deletion. When you confirm, the App asks iOS to move those items to your device's "Recently Deleted" album, from which they can typically be recovered for a limited time in the Photos app. We recommend keeping a backup of photos you care about.
5. Data stored on your device
The App stores your game progress locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage frameworks. This may include your experience points, level, streaks, daily goal, the amount of storage you have freed, and a history of your cleaning sessions. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed when you delete the App or reset your progress from within the App's Settings.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Swipe and Clean offers an auto-renewable subscription with a free trial. All purchases and billing are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or process your payment details, and we do not have access to your credit card or Apple ID credentials. Apple's handling of your purchase information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
7. Children's privacy
Swipe and Clean is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the App does not collect personal data at all, no such data about children is gathered.
8. Data security
Because your content and progress remain on your device and are never sent to us, your data stays under your control and the protection of your device's own security. You can further protect this data by using your device's passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here, and your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
